Viridor in Dunbar, East Lothian, is recruiting an Electrical Technician to join the ERF Operations team on a 40-hour week, Mon–Fri, 07:30–16:00. The role focuses on the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment at the ERF Plant, with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

You will coordinate with contractors, perform fault diagnosis, and support other disciplines as needed. A formal electrical apprenticeship and trade qualifications are required, with CMMS experience and a strong

Competenze

• Experience in electrical maintenance/installation in process industries or heavy engineering.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Formal electrical trade apprenticeship completed.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to work to tight schedules.
• Understanding of Environmental and H&S issues.
• Knowledge of plant breakdown issues and rectification.

• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on ERF plant.
• Ensure maintenance plans and targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Assist with supervision of contractors.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Conduct plant and area safety inspections.
• Ensure accurate reporting in the CMMS.
• Cover Electrical Engineer duties when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean workplace in line with ERF Safety Rules.
