Job summary

PTSG Group is seeking an Electrician to carry out electrical works in social housing void properties, preparing homes for reoccupation and delivering EICRs. The role includes diagnosing faults, delivering upgrades, and completing rewires with a safety-first mindset.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition, with desirable 2391/2394/2395 or EAL equivalent. A company vehicle is provided, plus apprenticeship support and funded training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Desirable: 2391 / 2394 / 2395 or EAL equivalent.
• Experience in social housing, voids or similar environments.
• Experience with rewires, upgrades and property turnaround works.
• Proactive, quality-focused approach and strong communication.
• Safety-first mindset at all times.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of electrical works within void properties.
• Conduct Electrical Installation Conditions Reports (EICRs).
• Diagnose and repair faults (C1s and C2s) on site.
• Deliver upgrade works, property adaptations and full rewires.
• Complete remedial works including emergency lighting and circuit repairs.
• Issue Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and ensure compliance.
• Work with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
• Manage your own schedule across sites within a local radius.
