Job summary

Qualifications

• Time-served Electrician with an engineering qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent).
• Proven electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices.
• Ability to work at height in a demanding industrial environment.
• Experience using diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on port plant and equipment.
• Undertake installations, refurbishments, modifications and improvement projects.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately through the maintenance management system.
• Assist with inspections, audits and compliance activities.
• Provide engineering support during breakdown situations and operational requirements.
