Job summary

Wolviston Management Services is recruiting an Electrical Technician for our client in Darlington, a key player in the North East's manufacturing sector.

In this role you will maintain the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical distribution systems, support planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement within a high-spec production environment.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical maintenance apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in a process or chemical plant environment.
• Strong fault-finding using drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of DSEAR/Hazardous Area compliance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold Health, Safety & Compliance with RAMS, JSA and relevant legislation.
• Plan and deliver both planned and reactive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Use CMMS (Maximo) for accurate maintenance recording, analysis, and scheduling.
• Diagnose and resolve plant faults efficiently, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Inspect, test and maintain MCCs, electrical distribution systems, DOL, Star/Delta and VSD installations.
