Job summary

Adsyst Automation Ltd in Sandhurst is offering an Apprentice Electrical Technician role with a City and Guilds Electrotechnical apprenticeship (5357-03/23) to commence September 2026 as a day-release program. The role is based at our head office with a full UK driving licence required for site work and college commutes.

The position is full-time (08:30-17:15 Monday-Thursday, 08:30-16:00 Friday) with year-one salary of £16,500, and includes benefits such as pension, private health, and training

Qualifications

Strong interest in Electrical Engineering or practical experience desired.
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and control panel wiring.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, install and maintain electrical control systems and components to specification.
Read design specifications and technical drawings.
Assist in creating FDS, RAMS and method statements.
Learn PLC software and HMI/SCADA development.
Site installation and commissioning; customer facing responsibilities.
