Job summary

Soil Machine Dynamics (SMD) is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its electrical team. You will be responsible for complex system builds, ensuring work follows the specified sequences and diagrams.

Key tasks include assembling and wiring control panels, sub-assemblies, and large equipment according to engineering drawings. A health-and-safety conscious mindset and teamwork in a fast-paced environment are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent certified trade apprenticeship.
• Experience with panel wiring and machine wiring to electrical drawings.
• Experience in stripping, crimping, and terminating cables.
• Health and safety-minded mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and wiring of control panels.
• Wiring of sub-assemblies (e.g. junction boxes, ECUs).
• Machine wiring of large equipment, following engineering drawings.
• Assembly and wiring of small components.
