Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd. is recruiting Electrical Technicians for a permanent role with a Newcastle base. Shifts follow 6:30am–3:00pm Mon-Thu and 6:30am–12:00pm Fri, with overtime premium rates over 37 hours and occasional back/night shift if required. Average 15–20 hours monthly available.

You will assemble sub‑assemblies to ISO9001, wire harnesses, perform basic troubleshooting, document work, and maintain quality and on‑time delivery. Flexibility and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Time Served in an electrical discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and sketches.
• Experience with low voltage panel wiring and high voltage installations.
• Experience with wiring harness, loom, and transformers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic/electrical sub-assemblies from diagrams and work orders to ISO9001.
• Wire and solder wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, transformers, control consoles and connectors.
• Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies.
• Maintain department efficiency and meet build times for sub-assemblies.
• Meet build times for major project schedules.
• Complete documentation including timesheets and ECN.
• Carry out tasks safely using good working practices.
• Ensure assembly work meets department quality standards.

Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing client based in Newcastle, are looking to recruit a number of Electrical Technician to join the business on a permanent basis due to business growth.

Hours

Monday - Thursday - 6:30am to 3:00pm / Friday - 6:30am - 12:00pm

Any OT worked over 37 hours per week are paid at premium rates to boost earnings.

Due to workload, requirements to work on a Back Shift/ Night Shift may be required so flexibility is key.

Average of 15 - 20 hours per month available

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic/electrical sub assemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards
• Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc
• Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies
• Ensures assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency target of 100%
• Ensures assembly/sub assembly build times are met for major project schedule
• Complete all necessary documentation according to the requirements, (including timesheets, ECN etc.)
• Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices
• Carry out all assembly work to the required department quality standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Ideally candidates will be Time Served in an electrical discipline
• A good understanding of electrical/electronic systems essential.
• Technical competence in Low voltage AC/DC panel wiring/looming, High voltage installations,
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and sketches
