Electrical Technician

Location: Taunton

Are you an Electrical Technician with experience in control panels or machine wiring? This is a great opportunity to join a reputable manufacturer in a hands-on role offering regular hours, job security, and long-term development.

Our client is a well-established engineering firm that designs and builds specialist equipment for the global converting and print sector. You will join a skilled electrical team responsible for assembling and wiring custom-built machinery from detailed technical drawings. The role offers stability, technical variety, and a strong focus on quality and precision.

This is a practical, workshop-based position involving panel and on-machine wiring. Your responsibilities will include installing and wiring components such as PLC hardware (no programming involved), motors, relays, HMIs, drives, and sensors. You will also handle on-machine installation using trunking, tray work, and junction boxes.

This role is suitable for an Electrical Technician who enjoys building from the ground up and working as part of a close-knit production team.

The Role

• Wiring control panels and on-machine systems from electrical schematics
