A leading water services company seeks an Electrical Engineer to investigate and repair plant failures to ensure efficient operations. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and includes a standby rota. Attractive benefits include a salary up to £36,500 and company van post-training.
Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs in a timely and efficient manner to avoid process interruptions.
This may involve diagnosing complex faults and performing repairs during incidents.
You will provide technical advice based on up-to-date knowledge and support or train technical trainees if required.
Examples of equipment include motors, gearboxes, conveyors, centrifuges, pumps, control gear, 3-phase motors, starters, controls, electronic control systems such as VSDs, automatic valves, flow, level, and pressure measurement devices, programmable logic controllers, and chemical handling and dosing equipment.
Participate in a standby rota following relevant training.
Base Location: Rye Meads Sewage Works - SG12 8JY.
Working Pattern: 38 hours per week, 7:30 am - 3:36 pm, plus standby rota with additional pay.
