Job description

Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Manchester International Depot
Contract Type: 13-Week Contract (Start Date: 26^th May)
Working Hours: Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 50 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: £30 per hour, paid via LTD company and outside IR35.

Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies who are seeking to recruit an Electrical Technician to work on their modifications programme on digital equipment installations at Manchester International Depot. Ganymede Solutions are an AIMs listed recruitment agency, specialising in the transportation, infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors.

You will be working on a multi-million-pound digitalisation upgrade project for one of the UKs leading TOCs, as they finalise modifying the digital equipment & facilities for their fleet.

The Role:

As an Electrical Technician, you will be carrying out electrical installations and testing for a digital modifications upgrade.

You will be working on Wi-Fi installations, ethernet backbone installations, NVR/CCTV, passenger information systems, USB sockets and drivers cab upgrades.

The position will be days only, Monday to Friday. 50 hour working week as standard.

Requirements:

• Must be electrically qualified to minimum C&G/NVQ Level 3
• Must have at least 3 years rolling stock experience
• Can communicate with the team clearly to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and within the specified timeframe
• Is proactive in supporting the team to complete all tasks
• Are able to start by 26^th May earliest or by 2^nd June latest
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
• Be able to pass a full railway medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc
• Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
• Happy to help mentality/attitude
