Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an Electrical Technician for a permanent role in Horsham, salary £43,056 per year. You will join a facilities maintenance team delivering planned and reactive electrical tasks across a property portfolio.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391, and 18th Edition, with a UK driving licence and DBS clearance. You’ll perform PAT testing, EICRs, emergency lighting and fire alarm tests, using digital certification software.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations certificate.
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean preferred).
• Ability to pass a standard DBS check.
• Desirable: Legionella knowledge or PASMA/IPAF awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks including PAT testing, EICRs, Emergency Lighting, and Fire Alarm testing.
• Perform fault diagnosis, electrical repairs, and routine servicing per IEE regulations.
• Complete electrical certification efficiently using digital software.
• Participate in emergency call-out rotas and support wider trades as needed.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a high standard.

Electrical Technician to join their dynamic team in Horsham. This permanent opportunity is ideal for an electrician looking to advance their career with a thriving and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks including PAT testing, EICRs (fixed wiring), Emergency Lighting, and Fire Alarm testing.
• Perform fault diagnosis, electrical repairs, and routine servicing in accordance with current IEE regulations.
• Complete all electrical certification efficiently using modern digital software.
• Participate in emergency call-out rotas and support wider trades as necessary.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and professionally.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

• Salary: £43,056 per year.
• Holiday: 34 days annual leave (rising to 36 with service), with options to buy/sell leave.
