Randstad Construction and Property in Horsham is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join our facilities maintenance team. This permanent, full-time role offers hands-on electrical responsibilities within a busy property management environment, with a focus on safety, compliance and reliability.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, tests, inspections and certifications, work with modern software for electrical certification, and contribute to a supportive,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations certificate.
• Full UK Driving License (clean preferred).
• Ability to pass a standard DBS check.
• Desirable: Legionella knowledge or PASMA/IPAF.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance including PAT testing and EICRs.
• Test and service emergency lighting and fire alarms.
• Perform fault diagnosis and repairs to required IEE standards.
• Complete electrical certifications using digital software.
• Support wider trades during emergency call-outs.

About the Role

Our client, a leading property maintenance and facilities management specialist across the South of England, is seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Electrical Technician to join their dynamic team in Horsham. This permanent opportunity is ideal for an electrician looking to advance their career with a thriving and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks including PAT testing, EICRs (fixed wiring), Emergency Lighting, and Fire Alarm testing.


• Perform fault diagnosis, electrical repairs, and routine servicing in accordance with current IEE regulations.


• Complete all electrical certification efficiently using modern digital software.


• Participate in emergency call-out rotas and support wider trades as necessary.


• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and professionally.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).


• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).


• 18th Edition Electrical Regulations certificate.


• Full UK Driving License (clean preferred).


• Ability to pass a standard DBS check.


• Working knowledge of mechanical systems/Legionella or holding PASMA/IPAF is desirable.
