Position: Full time – Permanent - On site

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician looking for a dynamic role within a multi-disciplined team? We have an exciting opportunity for you to provide efficient site maintenance services. Join us and be part of a team that values high standards, safety, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose breakdowns, repair equipment, and implement preventative measures.
  2. Perform planned maintenance, inspection, and testing to required standards.
  3. Keep the Computerised Maintenance Management System (PEMAC) updated.
  4. Install new electrical equipment in compliance with current legislation and company specifications.
  5. Create and review electrical work instructions, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
  6. Carry out plant and equipment modifications within company specifications.
  7. Report hazards and equipment defects promptly.
  8. Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

  1. Experience in production maintenance environments, preferably on hazardous area / COMAH sites.
  2. COMPEX qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  3. Applicable and demonstrable apprenticeship qualification.
  4. IOSH or other H&S qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  5. City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
  6. IEE regulations 17th/18th edition.
  7. Ability to read technical drawings.
  8. Detailed understanding of current electrical legislation/electricity at work regulations.
  9. Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous).
  10. Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous).
