Job summary

RED Engineering Design, based in London, seeks an Electrical Technical Director to lead the design and coordination of building engineering services from the London office. You will drive project strategy, risk control, and client liaison across data centres and facilities.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Engineer status and relevant registrations.
• Experience with asset replacement and data centre projects in operational environments.
• International project management experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Takes team management and leadership role in development and design and coordination of engineering project services. Assists the Directors with Business strategy and management.
• Carries out cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of project fee proposals
• Working closely with clients and project team to establish project requirements
• Reviews status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required.
