RED Engineering Design Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join our London or Bicester teams. You will run major projects, coordinate electrical design for building services, and guide teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

The role demands Chartered Eng status or equivalent, and strong knowledge of UK standards with proven leadership capabilities. Hybrid working is offered within a global energy and built environment consultancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Chartered Eng status or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of UK regulations and BS standards
• Experience in design of building services and electrical systems
• Leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Lead major projects in electrical design for building services
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to develop design solutions
• Prepare feasibility studies and fee bids
• Develop controls and operating system specifications
• Review existing installations and propose enhancements
• Ensure technical drawings meet standards and client requirements
• Represent the company at meetings with stakeholders
• Manage project progress and cost control
