Job summary

RED Engineering Design is seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Director to be based at our London or Bicester office. You will lead the development, design and coordination of building services while contributing to business strategy and client relationships.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status, significant project leadership experience, and a strong understanding of UK regulations. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered to support a long-term career.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent recognised by the engineering body.
• Experience leading complex building services or MEP projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, design and coordination of building engineering services.
• Manage project feasibility, fee proposals and cost/profit diagnostics.
• Liaise with clients and project teams to establish requirements.
• Produce project reports for management and clients.
• Mentor younger engineers and support senior management.
• Oversee delivery of concept and detailed designs and construction monitoring.
