Job summary

RED seeks an Electrical Technical Director (RED Specialist Services) in London to lead design and coordination of building engineering services. You will manage teams, contribute to business strategy, and drive profitability on complex projects including data centres.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status, strong leadership, and a track record in international assignments, with a focus on safety, quality, and client relations. Hybrid/onsite flexibility discussed with the team.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Eng status or demonstrable professional affiliation.
• Experience in asset replacement and data centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, design and coordination of engineering project services.
• Advise Directors on business strategy and management.
• Perform cost and profit diagnosis, feasibility studies and fee proposals.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to establish requirements.
• Mentor younger engineers and deliver technical papers.
