Job summary

RED Engineering Design is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to lead major data centre projects from our London or Bicester offices. You will manage design, coordination of electrical services, and client communications across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires Chartered Eng status or equivalent, and extensive experience in building services design, with a strong grasp of UK standards and contract law. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Eng status and professional recognition.
• Experience in building services design and coordination.
• Knowledge of UK standards and regulations (BS standards).

Responsibilities

• Lead major projects and manage engineering services coordination for building systems.
• Conduct cost/profit diagnosis, feasibility studies and fee bids.
• Prepare project reports for management and clients.
• Ensure designs meet industry and legal standards.
• Represent the company at technical meetings with clients and contractors.
