Job summary

Eligo Recruitment in London is seeking an Electrical Technical Director to lead design governance and delivery for data centres and mission-critical projects. You will mentor engineers, drive client relationships, and oversee technical quality from concept through commissioning within a global consultancy framework.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic business growth, requiring Chartered Engineer status, strong knowledge of UK BS standards, and experience in high-density power

Qualifications

Degree and chartered status (CEng) required.
Extensive data centre and mission-critical project delivery experience.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and BS standards.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership, design governance, and calculations across major projects.
Perform due diligence, site surveys and audits for data centres.
Direct multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to office leadership.
Oversee project financials, proposals, and margin delivery.
Develop client relationships and support procurement and tenders.
Contribute industry thought leadership via papers and events.
Ensure QA/QC and risk management throughout delivery lifecycle.
