Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage is seeking an Electrical System Digital Transformation Intern for a multi‑faceted 12‑month programme. The role supports a 6‑month placement with a broader 12‑month journey, gaining hands‑on experience in digitisation and electrical engineering.

You will assist with digital solutions, data analysis, and security for electrical systems, collaborating with software engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Enrolment in a relevant Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of electrical systems, principles, and components.
• Basic knowledge of digital technologies, IoT, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) is a plus.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Digital Solutions Implementation: Collaborate with the electrical engineering team to deploy digital solutions and technologies.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from electrical systems to identify patterns and inform decisions.
• Security: Ensure that digital solutions and data transmission are secure and compliant with industry standards.
