Based in Alzenau / Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program.

We are currently looking for an Electrical System Design Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical systems, including circuit design, wiring, fusing, and electrical packaging.
2. Create schematics and 2D harness drawings following industry-recognized EDS standards.
3. Provide solutions for electrical packaging and wiring systems for our vehicles.
4. Use Catia V5 design tools, including the electrical harness workbench, to create detailed harness routes and feasible design solutions from the conceptual phase.
5. Present design information for internal and external project status reviews.
6. Perform vehicle fault analysis and modify electrical harnesses as needed.
7. Support program launches and manufacturing, including guidance for installation and rework by manufacturing and service teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the motorsport industry.
• Organized, flexible, and able to adapt to last-minute changes.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of High Voltage Systems and Motorsport Looms.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook) and Catia V5.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
