Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical System Design Engineer to join our team in Stockport, UK. The role involves designing electrical systems, creating schematics and harness drawings, and supporting vehicle electrical packaging and modifications.

• Experience in electrical system design, circuit design, wiring, and electrical packaging.
• Proficiency in creating schematics and 2D harness drawings adhering to industry standards.
• Design and develop electrical packages and wiring systems for vehicles.
• Familiarity with Catia V5, including electrical harness workbench and harness routing.
• Ability to present design information for project reviews.
• Experience with vehicle fault analysis and electrical harness modifications.
• Support for program launches and manufacturing rework guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the motorsport industry.
• Organized, flexible, and capable of adapting to last-minute changes.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of High Voltage Systems and Motorsport Looms.
• Proficient in MS Office and Catia V5.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
