Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking an Electrical Support Engineer to collaborate with experienced electrical teams on commercial Solar PV and energy projects nationwide. The role suits an electrical improver or developing electrician seeking further experience in commercial renewables.

Responsibilities include supporting installations, containment, cabling, testing, and working with Lead Electricians while adhering to RAMS and safety procedures.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
Solar PV experience advantageous
Able to travel and stay away nationwide

Responsibilities

Support commercial electrical installations
Assist with containment, cabling, fixing and testing
Work alongside Lead Electricians and project teams
Support Solar PV and associated electrical works
Identify and elevate installation issues
Follow RAMS and site safety procedures

Electrical Support Engineer

Location: UK Wide - Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 DOE

Position: Full Time

We are looking for an Electrical Support Engineer to work alongside experienced electrical teams across commercial Solar PV and energy projects nationwide.
