Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd in the UK is seeking an Electrical Support Engineer to work with experienced electrical teams on commercial Solar PV and energy projects nationwide.

You will support installations, assist with containment, cabling, fixing and testing, and work alongside Lead Electricians and project teams.

The role requires Level 2 electrical installation minimum (Level 3 preferred), a valid ECS card, a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away.

Qualifications

• Level 2 electrical installation minimum.
• Level 3 preferred.
• ECS Electrical Labourer Card or above.
• Practical electrical installation experience.
• Solar PV experience advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own vehicle and basic tools.
• Happy to travel and stay away nationwide.
• NVQ Level 3, AM2, 2391, Solar PV, EV and ECS Gold Card qualifications are advantageous

Location: UK Wide - Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 DOE

Position: Full Time

We are looking for an Electrical Support Engineer to work alongside experienced electrical teams across commercial Solar PV and energy projects nationwide.

This role would suit an electrical improver or developing electrician looking to gain further experience within commercial renewables.
