Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd seeks an Electrical Support Engineer to work with experienced electrical teams on commercial Solar PV and energy projects across the UK.

The role suits an electrical improver or developing electrician aiming to gain experience in commercial renewables; travel nationwide and staying away are involved. A Level 2 is required, with Level 3 preferred, plus an ECS card and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 2 Electrical Installation with practical experience.
Level 3 qualification preferred.
ECS Card or higher required.
Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
Willing to travel nationwide and stay away.
Solar PV experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Support commercial electrical installations
Assist with containment, cabling, fixing and testing
Work alongside Lead Electricians and project teams
Support Solar PV and associated electrical works
Identify and elevate installation issues
Follow RAMS and site safety procedures

Electrical Support Engineer

Location: UK Wide - Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 DOE

Position: Full Time

We are looking for an Electrical Support Engineer to work alongside experienced electrical teams across commercial Solar PV and energy projects nationwide.

This role would suit an electrical improver or developing electrician looking to gain further experience within commercial renewables.

Responsibilities
