Job summary

Mint Selection is partnering with a leading energy organisation to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor for an immediate start on a utility-scale BESS project in Manchester. You will supervise electrical construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, to high quality standards, on programme and to project specifications.

This role requires strong QA/QC discipline, RAMS compliance and effective on-site leadership to drive successful energisation

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on utility-scale energy, power, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering BESS, Solar, HV Substation, Grid Connection, Renewables or Power Generation projects is highly desirable.
• Strong QA/QC background with experience of ITPs, inspections, NCR management and project handover.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical construction activities across a utility-scale BESS project, ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with programme.
• Act as the primary point of contact for electrical subcontractors and coordinate between project stakeholders.
• Oversee LV/MV installations, switchgear, transformers, containment, cabling and earthing.
• Ensure all installations comply with drawings, specifications and project quality requirements.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspections, test packs and as-built drawings.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions on site.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections and promote HSEQ culture on site.
• Support commissioning, energisation and handover activities.
