Job summary
Mint Selection seeks an experienced Electrical Site Engineer on a contract basis for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Exeter. The role is hands-on and site-based, providing technical oversight of electrical installation works to meet project specifications, programme requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Engineer on major infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects.
- Experience supporting construction of utility-scale electrical installations.
- Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical systems and on-site installation practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering oversight of all electrical installation activities on site.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure safety, quality and schedule requirements.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Support inspection, testing, commissioning and energisation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant standards and HSE requirements.
- Assist with quality inspections, snagging and project handover documentation.
