Skilled Careers is recruiting an Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical installation on a major prison project in Bedfordshire. The role demands coordination of site teams, adherence to RAMS, and strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have Tier 1 contractor experience, enhanced DBS clearance, and SMSTS/SSSTS certification. Immediate start and a minimum 12-month contract on a high-profile site are offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications and supervisory qualifications are required.
• Experience leading electrical installations on large sites, preferably Tier 1 projects.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is mandatory for prison environments; willing to obtain before starting.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification and CSCS Gold or Black Card are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site.
• Manage electrical subcontractors and site teams to meet programme.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, RAMS, specs and regs.
• Monitor quality and progress of electrical installations.
• Coordinate with construction team and other trades.
• Carry out inspections and rectify defects or issues.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards at all times.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and coordination of works.
• Ensure works align with Tier 1 contractor and client requirements.
