Zusammenfassung

Trant Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead on-site teams, oversee electrical install works and coordinate with civil, mechanical and process teams across high‑value projects in the UK. You will ensure safety compliance, quality standards and timely delivery.

The role requires 5–7 years’ electrical installation experience on industrial projects, plus supervisory leadership and relevant certifications (18th edition, JiB Gold Card, SMSTS/SSSTS).

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Electrical installation on industrial or infrastructure projects (5-7 years).
• Experience in a supervisory role (2-3 years).
• JiB Gold Card.

Aufgaben

• Oversee electrical operatives and subcontractors on site, allocating work based on competence and programme requirements.
• Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, and process teams; support testing, inspection, and commissioning.
• Enforce site health, safety, and environmental procedures in line with UK legislation; conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Ensure electrical installations meet BS 7671 and project standards; support FAT/SAT, ITPs and QA/QC processes; inspect completed works.
• Maintain records of daily activities, attendance, materials, test results, and commissioning documentation; assist in progress reports and handovers.
• Liaise with Site Managers and Client representatives; coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery; communicate risks and resource needs.
