Job summary

Trant Engineering Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our on-site delivery teams on a Water project in South West England. You will supervise electrical operatives, coordinate with civil and mechanical disciplines, and ensure works comply with UK regulations and project specs.

You'll lead safety, quality, and documentation, manage subcontractors, and report progress and risks to site management. Competitive package and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Experience in a supervisory role on industrial/infrastructure projects (5–7 years).
• JiB Gold Card.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical operatives and subcontractors on site.
• Oversee installation of electrical systems and ensure works align with drawings and specs.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental procedures on site (UK regulations).
• Ensure electrical installations meet BS 7671 and project standards; support QA/QC processes.
