Job summary

Anglian Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee installation teams across multiple commercial projects in East Anglia. You will ensure safety, quality and programme targets are met while coordinating with site operatives, project management and clients.

The role requires a background in commercial M&E contracting, familiarity with 18th Edition regulations and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor within commercial M&E contracting.
• Strong background supervising electrical installations on new build and refurbishment projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• ECS Gold Card or equivalent electrical qualifications.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Testing & Inspection qualifications desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical installation teams on commercial construction projects.
• Managing subcontractors and directly employed electricians.
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards.
• Carrying out site inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Coordinating materials, labour and plant requirements.
• Completing RAMS, permits and site documentation.
• Conducting toolbox talks and maintaining high Health & Safety standards.
• Liaising with Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants and clients.
• Assisting with commissioning, testing and project handovers.

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, building services contractor with years of experience delivering high-quality Mechanical & Electrical installations across East Anglia.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation teams across multiple commercial projects.

The Role

As Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification. You'll act as the link between site operatives, project management and the client, ensuring quality workmanship and programme targets are consistently achieved.
