Job summary

Meridian are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to start on an IKEA distribution Centre project in Peterborough. You will work on the tools and supervise a team of Electricians with the installation of LV power, distribution boards, containment, busbar and lighting. Applicants must have previous supervising experience, a valid JIB Card and SSSTS.

49 hours per week. Site Hours: Mon-Thu 07:00-18:00, Fri 07:00-14:00. £30.00 per hour CIS (alternative PAYE rates available).

Qualifications

• Applicants must have previous supervising experience accompanied with a valid JIB Card and SSSTS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of electricians on site.
• Oversee installation of low voltage power, distribution boards, containment (ladder rack, tray, basket), busbar and lighting.

Job description

Meridian are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor to start work on a IKEA distribution Centre in Peterborough. This is working for a large scale regional contractor who previously have done a lot of warehouse refurbishments throughout the UK. The project is due to go live on the 5th October 2026 and will be aiming to be complete by December 2027.

The Electrical supervisor will be required to work on the tools and supervise a team of Electricians with the installation of the following:

• Low Voltage Power.
• Distribution Boards.
• Containment including Ladder Rack, Tray and Basket.
• Busbar.
• Lighting.

Applicants must have previous supervising experience accompanied with a valid JIB Card and SSSTS.

49 hours per week.

Site Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 18:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 14:00pm

£30.00 Per HourCIS (Alternative PAYE rates available).

12 Months + Duration.
