Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is seeking a capable non-working supervisor / project lead to manage site operations on an Oxford-based assignment. You will supervise electrical installation teams, coordinate SWA sub-main works, and ensure delivery to programme and safety standards.

The role requires proven construction project management experience, a strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installations, and valid CSCS/ECS cards. Accommodation is provided for the project duration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction project management and/or non-working electrical supervision.
• Strong background in commercial / industrial electrical installations.
• Experience managing SWA cable installation and sub-main infrastructure works.
• SMSTS qualification preferred; ECS / CSCS card required.

• Produce progress reports, manage site documentation, and maintain project records.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will manage site operations as a non-working supervisor / project lead, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and electrical installation teams.
• Oversee pulling and installation of SWA sub-main cables (4 Core 25mm² - 240mm²).
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and project scheduling.
• Ensure all works are completed to specification, programme, and quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance.
• Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and site inspections.
• Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and project management teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction project management and/or non-working electrical supervision.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Must be up to date with current IT systems and proficient in using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office for reporting, communication, and document management.
• Ability to manage works within a live construction environment.
• Flexibility to work Overtime where required including nights.
