Michael Page is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with engineering and operations, and drive reliability and safety across all equipment.

Our client is a global business based in the South East of Scotland who have a well established site that operate and manufacture material that services a variety of sectors including FMCG, Healthcare etc.
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the site's electrical maintenance function to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all manufacturing, process and utility equipment. The role provides technical leadership to Electrical Technicians, Instrumentation and Control Engineers, and contractors while ensuring all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
The position plays a critical role in supporting production performance, equipment reliability, continuous improvement initiatives and the successful delivery of engineering projects. The Electrical Supervisor will work closely with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance teams to drive operational excellence and develop the capability of the electrical team.
Ø HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Ø Time-served Electrical Apprentice or equivalent industrial experience.
Ø Minimum 5 years' experience within a process manufacturing environment.
Ø Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
Ø Experience managing maintenance activities, shutdowns and engineering projects.
Ø Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Ø Previous PLC programming and fault-finding experience.
Ø Knowledge of industrial automation and process control systems.
Ø High Voltage (HV) Switching experience up to 11kV.
Ø Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and industrial control equipment.
Ø Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and electrical documentation.
Ø Competent in the use of AutoCAD or similar design software.
Ø Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Ø Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
