Job summary

1st Step Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a National M&E Building Services contractor for a freelance Electrical Supervisor in Devon.

Location: near Newton Abbot. Duration: at least 5 months (potential extension). Hours: site-based 45 per week. Pay: £30.00p/hr CIS, with a £2.00p/hr loyalty top-up. Start ASAP after security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising electrical installs on commercial projects.
• Strong health & safety awareness and RAMS management.
• Ability to coordinate labour and subcontractors against programme.

Responsibilities

• Managing labour and subcontractors to plan work and track progress.
• Overseeing RAMS/Health & Safety compliance and material organisation.

Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a National M&E Building Services contractor for a freelance Electrical Supervisor in Devon.

Required: Electrical Supervisor

Location: near Newton Abbot, Devon.

Employment: Freelance/full time.

Duration: at least 5 months (until Xmas), but could run until February/March time on smaller phases & buildings.

Pay Rate (CIS): £30.00p/hr (+ £2.00p/hr - see below)

Long term Loyalty Bonus (CIS): £2.00p/hr released at the end of the contract

Approx. Start date: ASAP, once security clearance has been completed which takes around 4-6weeks.

Site Hours: 45p/w

Project: new £15m commercial installation, working on new stores, workshops, plant rooms etc.

Duties

• managing labour, sub-contractors, RAMS/Health & Safety, work tasks & flow against the programme, organising materials etc.

Qualifications

• ECS Card is essential, SSSTS or SMSTS would be beneficial.

Lodge/travel expenses: unfortunately, not provided

Experience: you will have worked in the capacity of an Electrical Supervisor before and will be able to provide details on commercial installation construction projects you have previously managed.
