Job summary

GM Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor for London to oversee NICEIC compliance, inspections and testing across commercial, industrial and three-phase projects.

The role requires acting as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, supervising electricians and subcontractors, and ensuring high standards of safety, workmanship and documentation. Strong communication and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an electrical apprenticeship and ECS Gold Card.
• Experience with NICEIC QS qualifications and BS7671.
• 2+ years EICR experience with non-conformity coding.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
• Supervise electricians and subcontractors.
• Carry out site audits and EICRs.
• Oversee inspection, testing and certification.
• Review and sign off electrical documentation.
• Provide CPD and technical guidance to operatives.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.
• Support emergency lighting projects as per BS 5266.
• Liaise with clients, management and NICEIC representatives.

ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

Were recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor / NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.

This is a key role overseeing electrical compliance, inspection & testing, certification and quality across predominantly commercial, industrial and three-phase projects.

The Role

• Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
• Supervise and support electricians and subcontractors
• Carry out site audits, inspections and EICRs
• Oversee inspection, testing, safe isolation and certification
• Review and sign off electrical documentation
• Provide technical guidance and CPD to operatives
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance
• Support emergency lighting projects and BS 5266 requirements
• Liaise professionally with clients, management and NICEIC representatives

Essential Requirements

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship
• ECS Gold Approved Electrician Card
• Meets NICEIC QS qualification requirements
• Strong knowledge of BS7671, Guidance Note 3 and the On-Site Guide
• Proven experience with commercial, industrial and three-phase installations
• Strong inspection & testing experience
• 2+ years' recent EICR experience, including coding non-compliances
• Experience supervising multiple operatives/subcontractors
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel and digital certification systems
• Good spoken and written English
