Job summary

GM Recruitment seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor in London to lead on-site compliance, inspection and testing across commercial and industrial projects. The role focuses on certification, documentation, and supervising electricians and subcontractors.

The candidate will act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, deliver CPD, maintain high standards, and liaise with clients and NICEIC representatives to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship completed.
• Experience with EICR coding and inspections.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 and On-Site Guide.

Responsibilities

• Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
• Supervise electricians and subcontractors on site.
• Carry out site audits, inspections and EICRs.
• Oversee inspection, testing, isolation and certification.
• Review and sign off electrical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and CPD to operatives.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.
• Support emergency lighting projects and BS 5266 requirements.
• Liaise with clients, management and NICEIC representatives.

ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor / NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.

This is a key role overseeing electrical compliance, inspection & testing, certification and quality across predominantly commercial, industrial and three-phase projects.

The Role

• Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
• Supervise and support electricians and subcontractors
• Carry out site audits, inspections and EICRs
• Oversee inspection, testing, safe isolation and certification
• Review and sign off electrical documentation
• Provide technical guidance and CPD to operatives
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance
• Support emergency lighting projects and BS 5266 requirements
• Liaise professionally with clients, management and NICEIC representatives

Essential Requirements

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship
• ECS Gold Approved Electrician Card
• Meets NICEIC QS qualification requirements
• Strong knowledge of BS7671, Guidance Note 3 and the On-Site Guide
• Proven experience with commercial, industrial and three-phase installations
• Strong inspection & testing experience
• 2+ years' recent EICR experience, including coding non-compliances
• Experience supervising multiple operatives/subcontractors
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel and digital certification systems
• Good spoken and written English
• 18th Edition and C&G #removed# Inspection & Testing highly desirable.
