Job summary

JLL in London is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of electricians across our London commercial portfolio. You will own compliance, mentor engineers, and ensure safe, efficient operation of power, lighting and control systems while working within a national employer framework.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2, 18th Edition, and a track record of at least five years in commercial settings.

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2, 18th Edition (BS 7671).
• Valid ECS card and minimum 5 years' commercial electrical experience.
• Full UK driving licence and proven leadership/team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of electricians and technicians across multiple London sites.
• Diagnose faults and perform installations on lighting, power, distribution, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and complete EICR certification.
• Oversee safety, permits, and a stop-work culture.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead safety briefings.
• Manage SharePoint audits and investigations.
• Cover OOH call-out rota and coordinate rapid resolutions.
• Liaise with clients and national account colleagues to coordinate maintenance.

The work

• Supervising and coordinating a team of electricians and technicians across multiple commercial sites in London
• Complex fault diagnosis, repairs and installations on lighting, power, distribution and control systems
• Inspection, testing (EICR) and certification to BS 7671 (18th Edition) - plus 100% checks of your team's paperwork and certificates
• Working safely - POWRAs, permits, and a stop‑work culture that means something
• Mentoring junior engineers and running regular safety briefings and training sessions
• Owning the compliance SharePoint, team audits and investigations
• Covering the OOH call‑out rota and coordinating rapid resolution for emergencies
• Liaising with clients, PFI/PAM and national account colleagues to coordinate maintenance activity

What you'll need

• Essential: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2, 18th Edition (BS 7671), valid ECS card, minimum 5 years' commercial electrical experience, full UK driving licence, and proven leadership/team management experience.
• Nice to have: 2391 inspection & testing, F‑Gas/AC, fire alarm/emergency lighting know‑how, and FM or similar commercial environment experience - and if you don't have them yet, we'll help you get there.
