Job summary

My client in Central London is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a major refurbishment project worth circa £30m. You will manage on-site electrical works, liaise with the client, and drive progress reporting and safety compliance.

The role is based in Central London with a hands-on approach to delivering snag-free handovers. Applicants should have a solid electrical background in commercial settings, progression from a tools environment, and SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications.

Client: My client has established themselves as one of the UK s premier M&E contractors. Following their formation almost 75 years ago, they have grown their turnover to over £300m per annum. The business boasts an envious track record of delivering some of the UK s and London s landmark projects. Typically they specialise in major shell and core projects in sectors such as; commercial offices, healthcare, pharmaceutical and education. Despite their size, this Tier 1 M&E Contractor has fantastic staff retention rates with a reputation for looking after their staff. They offer excellent exposure and internal training schemes with a hands‑on approach to developing their staff.

Role: Electrical Supervisor Central London £280 - £320 per day

The project is a commercial refurbishment circa £30m MEP.

Duties include:

• Management of sub-contractors and labour
• Client liaison and attend site meetings
• Progress Reporting
• Responsible for all health & safety at site level including the preparation and issuing of RAMS & and tool box talks where appropriate
• Weekly H&S Returns
• Project & programme implementation
• Understanding of design & drawings
• Continuous snagging to minimise defects & errors
• Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project

The ideal candidate:

• Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of electrical services
• Experience working in the commercial sector
• SSSTS/SMSTS Qualified
