Job summary

Unify is seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor to deliver hands-on electrical installation and day-to-day supervision across a major water and wastewater infrastructure programme. The role combines leading by example with developing a growing self-delivery team on treatment and network sites.

You will contribute to capital upgrade works, including new installations, refurbishments, and essential MEICA projects that keep critical water infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and a valid JIB Gold Card or ECS card.
• Strong background in the water or wastewater industry.
• C&G 2330 or 2360, NVQ Level 3, and C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing).
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• SMSTS and Confined Spaces qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Installing LV electrical systems for temporary and permanent works, including containment, power, control, and instrumentation cabling.
• Supervising electricians and guiding apprentices, ensuring work meets industry standards and project requirements.
• Carrying out safe isolations of LV systems and issuing electrical safety documentation such as Permits to Work and Isolation Certificates.
• Producing and reviewing electrical RAMS, ITPs, and supporting electrical audits.
• Assisting with commissioning documentation and coordinating with supply chain partners to resolve faults and technical issues.

What we’re looking for

• Good understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, MEICA equipment, and typical plant found on operational sites
