Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead maintenance teams in an on-site Aberdeen facility. The role emphasizes safety, engineering supervision, and hands-on improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a recognised electrical apprenticeship, time-served experience, and strong PLC knowledge, with proven leadership skills and a focus on Lean and 5S practices in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• Time-served Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum three years' supervisory experience.
• Proven experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong health and safety background.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
• Desirable qualifications: HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in an electrical maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Experience training or mentoring electrical engineering apprentices.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or Supervisory Management qualification.
