Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a utility-scale solar O&M company to recruit a Junior Field Service Engineer for its sites in Bristol, Swindon, and the surrounding areas. This role offers a salary of £30,000 - £36,000 DOE, a company van, and an excellent opportunity to enter the utility-scale solar industry. Responsibilities and Duties

1. Reporting to the Head of Operations, assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer, and contractual requirements.
2. Learning about reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and standard operating procedures.
3. Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and resolution promptly.
4. Carrying out site surveys as required.
5. Compiling accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
6. Maintaining detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage, and safety documents suitable for audit.
7. Ensuring work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity standards.
8. Complying with the company's Health & Safety policy.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent.
• 17th/18th edition wiring regulations (preferably).
• At least one year of experience in electrical installation/maintenance in industrial, commercial, or domestic settings.
• Full UK driving license.
