Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking two Electrical Site Supervisors to join our Minor Works and Civils team in Maidstone. You will lead on-site electrical installations, coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, and ensure delivery to schedule and high standards.

The ideal candidate brings proven supervision experience, strong knowledge of wiring regulations (BS 7671) and a safety-first mindset. You will communicate with Project Managers and clients to keep projects on track and compliant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical teams on site.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 / 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation teams and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment to support project delivery.
• Plan and coordinate electrical works in line with project programmes.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet specifications and regulations.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture through toolbox talks and site controls.
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges on site.
• Ensure electrical works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, contractors and other site teams.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates on site activities.

Electrical Site Supervisors - Minor Works & Civil

We are currently looking for two experienced Electrical Site Supervisors to join our Minor Works and Civils team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused, hands‑on electrical professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and has previous experience supervising electrical installation teams.

You will play a key role in leading site teams, coordinating works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and right first time.

The Role

• Supervise electrical installation teams and subcontractors on site
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment to support project delivery
• Plan and coordinate electrical works in line with project programmes
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet specifications and regulations
• Promote a strong health & safety culture through toolbox talks and site controls
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges on site

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Foreman
• Strong electrical installation knowledge and experience
• Previous experience supervising electrical teams and subcontractors
• Good understanding of BS 7671 / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Electrical trade qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
• Strong health & safety awareness
• SSSTS or SMSTS would be advantageous
• CSCS or relevant site qualifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands‑on, organised and confident leading teams on site.

You will have strong electrical knowledge, previous supervisory experience and the ability to make decisions and resolve issues in a fast-moving project environment.

The position will be based within the Maidstone team, with projects across various sites.
