Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to lead installation teams on a portfolio of commercial electrical and infrastructure projects.

The role is based in Maidstone, with work across hospitals, schools, rail and other public-sector sites. You’ll supervise electricians and subcontractors, coordinate labour and materials, ensure safety standards, and deliver projects on time and to specification.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join an established engineering contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial electrical installation and infrastructure projects.

The role will involve supervising electrical works across schools, hospitals, rail infrastructure, bus garages and commercial developments, including cable installations, cable management systems, fire alarm upgrades and station accessibility schemes.

There are two permanent positions available within the Minor Works and Civils team. The team is based in Maidstone, with work taking place across various project sites. They’re looking for hands‑on supervisors who can lead installation teams, maintain high safety standards and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

• Supervising electrical installation teams and subcontractors on-site
• Coordinating daily electrical installation activities across multiple project types
• Overseeing cable management, cable installations and associated electrical works
• Supporting projects across hospitals, schools, rail infrastructure and commercial environments
• Coordinating labour, materials and equipment to maintain project progress
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations
• Promoting a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and site controls
• Monitoring installation quality and resolving technical issues on‑site
• Providing hands‑on technical support to electrical installation teams
• Liaising with project teams and subcontractors to coordinate works
• Ensuring electrical installations are completed safely and to the required standards
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects from installation through to completion

What They’re Looking For

• Previous experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor or in a similar electrical supervisory role
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial electrical installations
• Experience supervising electrical installation teams and subcontractors
• Good understanding of cable installations and cable management systems
• Experience working on commercial, public‑sector or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and site regulations
• Ability to coordinate labour, materials and site activities effectively
• Experience carrying out quality inspections and monitoring installation standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving on‑site challenges
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment
• Willingness to work across various project sites
• Experience working on hospital, education, rail or transport infrastructure projects would be particularly beneficial
