Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical installation and design on construction projects, including Shopfit, Residential Refurb and NHS projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and site management, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical installation activities at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
• Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, electricians, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of electrical installations
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential electrical hazards and ensure high quality workmanship
• Develop and implement electrical work plans and schedules, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may arise
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, promoting a culture of safety, diversity, and inclusion

Day-to-day

• Collaborating with Directors and subcontractors to plan and coordinate electrical installation activities
• Conducting site inspections and addressing any electrical safety concerns or quality issues
• Leading and supporting the electrical team, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to project requirements
• Communicating with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns
• Promoting a safe, diverse, and inclusive work environment for the electrical team

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician or Electrical Site Manager in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation techniques
• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, site management, or a related field
• Holding SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and relevant certifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment
