Job Description
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee a 12-month mixed-use development project in Milton Keynes. The role involves managing on-site electrical operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and programme targets — with a strong emphasis on quality assurance (QA) throughout all phases of work.Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day electrical works from first fix through to commissioning. * Supervise electricians and subcontractors to deliver work on time and to standard. * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Coordinate works with other trades and attend site meetings. * Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and building regs. * Enforce on-site Health & Safety policies (toolbox talks, RAMS, site audits). * Monitor installation quality and carry out snagging and defect resolution. * Oversee QA processes, including: * Completing ITPs and QA checklists * Witnessing and recording test results * Preparing and reviewing certification * Track progress against the build programme and report to the Project Manager. * Support commissioning and handover documentation. * Manage deliveries, material control, and stock levels.Required Qualifications & Skills * ECS Gold Card (Black or Gold) * SMSTS or SSSTS * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role on mixed-use or large residential projects * Strong understanding of QA procedures, test and inspection, and handover protocols * Able to lead site teams and communicate clearly with clients and consultants * Full UK driving licenceDesirable * City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Testing & Inspection) * First Aid at Work * Familiarity with commissioning procedures and QA tracking tools * Experience in commercial fit-out and multi-unit residential developmentsTo ApplyPlease send up to date CV for Electrical Site Manager
