Electrical Site Manager – Energy Infrastructure | Airport Scheme

Location: Gatwick

Salary: £55,000 – £63,000, Car or allowance + Package (DOE)

The Role

We’re recruiting an Electrical Site Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical works as part of this flagship infrastructure programme.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise electrical installations: lighting, containment, distribution boards, BMS, and more.
2. Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site-based labour.
3. Ensure adherence to HSEQ procedures and safe systems of work.
4. Coordinate access, permits, and inspections in a live airport setting.
5. Maintain site records including RAMS, daily diaries, and progress logs.
6. Resolve technical and logistical site challenges.
7. Contribute to commissioning planning and readiness.
8. Maintain strong working relationships with the wider project team.

What We’re Looking For:

• CSCS/ECS, SMSTS and ideally First Aid trained.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems and safe installations.
• Experience in infrastructure or high-security live environments.
• Well-organised, proactive and delivery focused.
• Confident leading site teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communicator and problem-solver.
• High attention to documentation, quality, and safety.
