Job summary

Meridian Business Support Limited is seeking an Electrical Site Manager to join a leading UK M&E contractor on a state‑of‑the‑art student accommodation project near Victoria Park, Manchester. You will oversee the electrical trade on site and coordinate with sub‑contractors to keep progress on schedule.

The ideal candidate has an electrical background in residential/high‑rise projects, holds a JIB Card and SSSTS/SMSTS, and can drive safety, QA, RAMS, inductions and on‑site material management.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with experience on residential and high-rise projects.
• Supervise electricians on 1st and 2nd fix, ensure safety and QA on site.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors, RAMS and inductions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electricians on 1st and 2nd fix works.
• Ensure HSE and QA procedures are followed on site.
• Prepare RAMS and conduct inductions.
• Manage subcontractors, materials and workload on site.

Electrical Site Manager

Meridian are looking for an Electrical Site Manager to work for a leading UK M&E contractor on state of the art new-build student accommodation near Victoria Park, Manchester

• 1x Electrical Site Manager required


• £300 - £320 Day Rate(negotioable dependant on experience and qualifications) - CIS or PAYE Equivalent


• Immediate start available (subject to successful application - site visit/interview will be required prior to starting)


• Duration expected to be 12+ months of work


• 40-hours Mon-Fri


• M13 area of Manchester, near Ardwick


• Overseeing Electricians on 1st and 2nd fix, HSE and QA proceedures, RAMS & inductions, and helping manage subbies on site with materials and workload


• Electrical background required, specifically on residential & high-rise projects

JIB Card and SSSTS/SMSTS required
