Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer for a commercial site near Kensington. This permanent role offers a salary starting at £45,000, which may increase to £48,000 for candidates with HV Authorisation. Emphasis will be on both planned and reactive electrical maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and substantial experience in electrical maintenance within commercial environments. A rotating shift pattern is in place to ensure a proper work-life balance.

Qualifications

Essential NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
Preferred 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Experience in commercial buildings required.

Responsibilities

Job description

A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM / Engineering Maintenance service provider who are recruiting for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer based on a large commercial site near Kensington, London. This is a permanent position paying a salary of £45,000 per annum, rising to £48,000 for candidates holding HV Authorisation. Overtime is also available, along with an ASAP start for the right candidate. This is a highly stable and long-term opportunity within a prestigious FM contract.

Job Role

You will be required to work a rotating shift pattern of 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off, covering both day shifts of 7:00am - 7:00pm and 10:00am - 10:00pm.

The successful candidate will be based full-time on a large commercial site near Kensington, working within a high-profile building services environment.

Engineers are expected to be technically strong, proactive, and confident in both planned and reactive electrical maintenance within a complex and busy environment.

The role of an Electrical Shift Engineer is to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of electrical systems across the site. This will include fault finding, diagnostics, repairs and general electrical maintenance across a wide range of building services systems.
