Job summary
Brightwork Ltd in Belfast is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our busy FMCG manufacturing facility. You will maintain and repair automated production equipment, minimise downtime and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Shift pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Days Off; overtime paid at 1.3x. You will diagnose electrical faults, support PLC fault-finding, and work with motors, drives, sensors and control systems while keeping accurate maintenance records in
Qualifications
- Time-served electrical engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Strong electrical fault-finding experience in manufacturing.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of motors, drives, pneumatics and industrial automation.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated machinery.
- Support PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain packaging, bottling and labelling equipment.
- Work with motors, drives, sensors and control systems.
- Complete maintenance records using SAP/CMMS.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Ensure all work meets GMP, food safety and health & safety standards.
